Hi everyone!! This is Brandy.
We arrived in Guatemala safely on Monday at about 9pm central time. It was only 8pm here, apparantly they get to decide each year whether or not to observe daylight savings time. So far they aren't this year, but could change their minds.
Nerves were a little high when our flight to Dallas was delayed causing us to barely make our connection flight. God was there, we arrived just in time and the gate for the connecting flight was 10 feet away.
Everyone was so excited to be here, but a little hungry since we didn't get food on the flights and didn't have time to eat between flights. But the great people here at NLCH were there for us. We had a great meal of fried chicken and rolls before going off to bed.

Emiy says I love you and miss you and Matt says I hope you come back on Saturday. Matt has a double ear infection but we got him in today to see Dr. Olson and he is on antibiotics. Mom & Papa are doing a super job with them. I miss you so much. Love,

Glad to hear you made it safe and sound. Tessa and Parker are doing great. They miss you but Parker says me and Papa are a good substitute. They have both been busy. Parker went back to school today which wasn't on his top 10. He decided he was going to write you letters so you wouldn't miss anything but I told him you wouldn't get them before you left to come home so I got him a journal today and he is going to write in it for you. I think he even misses his big brother a little bit, too. Everybody here is safe and sound so enjoy your time there. We'll watch for updates.
